A 31-year-old man was killed on Interstate 90 in South Dakota Thursday night when he his van hit a charter bus that was stalled in the middle of the road with no lights on. The crash occurred 20 miles east of Rapid City at 8:45 p.m. when the bus carrying 56 passengers lost all power.
Sioux Falls: Police have a arrested a brother and sister on prostitution and sex trafficking charges after a month long investigation. On November 4th, police found an ad online that was suspicious enough to alarm investigators. As investigators were looking into the ad a crimestoppers tip came in, giving the name of a suspect and that they might be involved in prostitution.

A Chamberlain woman who allegedly neglected her children fled from law enforcement officers before she was eventually arrested. Lakita Andrews, 23, was charged with first-degree escape by a prisoner and contributing to abuse, neglect or delinquency. An arraignment is scheduled for Jan. 9.
Custer State Park staff are concerned about the fate of three burros that are still unaccounted for following the Legion Lake Fire. Six of the nine burros that live in the park had been found as of Thursday afternoon. "We will continue to look for the remainder of the burro herd, but at this time, it is believed they did not survive the extreme fire growth from Tuesday night," the park said in a Facebook post.
Custer State Park official says a western South Dakota wildfire hasn't spread past fire containment lines overnight. Park spokeswoman Lydia Austin said the fire has consumed more than 73 square miles (190 square kilometers) and is 10 percent contained. She says a fresh estimate will come later Thursday.

A 54-year-old man died in a two-vehicle crash northeast of Wagner. A 2008 Chevy Impala was going east on 295th Street and failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection with 401st Avenue, according to the Department of Public Safety. The Impala collided with a 2015 Dodge Ram pickup that was going south on 401st Avenue
A Mitchell woman sustained minor injuries Sunday morning after the vehicle she was driving was struck by a semi truck. At 11:20 a.m., 88-year-old Doris Lunde was traveling west in a 2011 Acura on the Highway 37 Bypass when she attempted to make a left turn onto Sanborn Boulevard, according to Mitchell Police Officer Kelly Loudenburg.

Sioux Falls: Police say a man is recovering after a shooting Sunday morning. Police got the call just before 5:00 a.m. about a gunshot victim in the 1500 Block of East 10th Street. When they arrived, the found a 35-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the leg.
Authorities say a state prison inmate who failed to return from his work-release job is back in custody. Thirty-four-year-old Lalo Montoya was supposed to return to the Yankton Community Work Center Friday following an appointment with his employer. Escape procedures were enacted when he failed to return on time.

One person is left with serious injuries after crashing his car into the side of a house early Wednesday morning. Police were first called to the area of 2nd Street and Leadale Avenue at about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday. According to police spokesperson Sam Clemens, a 21-year-old man was driving north on Leadale Avenue when his car left the road, hit the curb and grazed a tree in the boulevard.

Police say a crash in eastern Sioux Falls that scattered chunks of concrete across I-229 occurred after a juvenile female attempted to flee from authorities. It was 4:45 p.m. Sunday afternoon when Sioux Falls police and fire units were dispatched to a report of a vehicle on fire at the 10th Street overpass of I-229, according to a release from the Sioux Falls Police Department.
